Most CZ owners who upgrade want one of four things: a red dot on the slide, a lighter trigger, sights they see faster, or a grip that sits higher on the gun. This page explains how each works on a CZ; your model page then shows what fits.

A red dot on your CZ

With a red dot your eye stays on the target. You no longer line up the rear sight, front sight and target at three distances, so you find your aiming point faster and it is easier on the eyes. How the optic goes on depends on your slide.

  • Slide with a factory optics cut - the Shadow 2 OR, Shadow 2 Compact OR and P-10 OR take an Optics Ready plate. The plate fills the cut and holds the optic low and flush. Some Shadow 2 plates have a rear sight machined in. See Optics ready plates for CZ.
  • Standard slide - a red dot mount replaces the rear sight in its dovetail, with no milling. We carry mounts for the CZ 75 family, the Shadow line, the Kadet, the P-07 and P-09 and the P-10. See Red dot mounts for CZ.
  • Direct fit - the Holosun SCS P-10 and the Vector Optics Frenzy for Shadow 2 OR sit in the factory cut with no plate at all.

Plates and mounts are made per footprint, the screw pattern on the base of the optic. Match the footprint, not the brand: an RMR plate takes any optic built to the RMR footprint.

A lighter trigger

Eemann Tech competition springs lower the trigger pull without a new hammer or sear. The trigger bar spring at minus 15 percent power, for example, takes about 0.2 kg off the pull and leaves the main spring as it is. A lighter main spring lowers the pull further but strikes the primer softer, so test it with your ammunition before a match. Recoil springs in several weights let you tune the recoil to your load. We carry springs for the CZ 75 and Shadow family, the TS 2, the Kadet, the P-10 and the Scorpion Evo. See Springs for CZ.

For the P-10F there is a steel guide rod. It adds weight and stiffness under the barrel and is matched to Eemann Tech's P-10F recoil springs. See Guide rods for CZ.

Sights you see faster

Fiber optic fronts for speed in daylight, tritium for low light, adjustable rears to set your zero, and co-witness sets that work with a slide-mounted optic. CZ's own factory front sight for the Shadow 2 Orange is here too, and a blank front sight filler from Angry Bear. Note that the SP-01 and the SP-01 Shadow take different sights, and P-10 sights for a standard slide do not fit the P-10 OR. See Sights for CZ.

A higher grip

The Eemann Tech low profile safety for the right side sits 3 mm lower and 3 mm further forward than the factory lever. Your thumb can ride higher, which gives a more consistent grip in fast shooting. It works with the factory left-side safety. See Safeties for CZ.

Tools and dry fire training

To swap springs on the CZ 75 family you remove the firing pin stop plate. The Eemann Tech tool does both installation and removal, and magnets hold the plate while you work. CZ screws for its Optics Ready plates come as a pair. See Tools for CZ.

VR training frames copy the size, shape and balance of the Shadow 2, Shadow 2 Compact and Carry, and TS 2 for the ACE XR system on Meta Quest 3. You practise the draw, reload and trigger without live ammunition, and the drills carry over to live fire. The Quest controller and the ACE XR control unit are sold separately. See VR frames for CZ.

Find your CZ model

Parts rarely cross between CZ families, and sometimes not even between two models of one family. The Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Compact share plates and mounts; the TS 2, Shadow 2 Target and 75 Tactical Sports share a mount; the P-10C, P-10F and P-10S share plates and mounts. Frequently asked questions

Is the CZ 75 SP-01 the same as the SP-01 Shadow?

Not for most parts. They take different red dot mounts and sights. The low profile safety and the firing pin stop tool fit both.

My P-10 has an optics cut. Do I need a plate or a mount?

A plate, or the Holosun SCS P-10 with no plate. Our P-10 mounts are for slides without a cut, where they replace the rear sight.

Will lighter springs make my CZ unreliable?

Trigger and trigger bar springs change only the pull. A lighter main spring strikes the primer softer, so check that every round fires with your ammunition.

Can I fit the springs myself?

The main spring is a direct replacement that drops into the factory assembly. On the CZ 75 family the firing pin stop tool makes the job easier.
